3A Composites USA recently recognized respected team member John Tarr with the company’s two highest sales honors, 2021 Team Player of the Year and Sales Person of the Year for the Architectural Division.
The ALUCOBOND Team Player of the Year award is determined by a cross-functional group of peers that chooses a member of the architecture sales team who embodies the company’s core values of integrity, accountability, value creation, customer focus, team, continuous improvement, humility and respect, and drive.

Tarr — whose territory includes Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Louisiana for the ALUCOBOND brand of products— also earned the title of Sales Person of the Year for the third straight year. The award is earned by the sales person who has generated the greatest number of pipeline opportunities and driven the largest percentage of growth and increase in sales volume year-over-year.
“John’s success is due in large part to his disciplined and systematic approach to business development and customer centricity,” explained Scheib. “He stands out among his colleagues and is our go-to person when we want to try something new. What is most impressive is his willingness to support his sales colleagues in their efforts in essence raising the bar for the entire team.”
