OSHA, Davenport, Iowa, announced it is issuing a new rule addressing the use of cranes and derricks in construction, replacing a decades-old standard. The rule will take effect on Nov. 8, 2010. Approximately 267,000 construction-related companies employing about 4.8 million workers will be affected by this new rule.
