Accurate Perforating has added a new member to their team. Brett Sprietler joins Accurate as Continuous Improvement Engineer. Sprietler brings his extensive background in manufacturing operations to the team at Accurate. Recently, he decided to transition from the automotive industry to the metal fabricating industry.
Sprietler moved to the Chicago land area and took a job as a Quality Engineer in the plastics injection molding industry. After a year in plastics, he transitioned to a career with Minuteman International (manufacturer of industrial and commercial cleaning equipment) where he spent nearly 14 years, most recently as Director of Industrial Engineering & Quality Management System Coordinator.
More recently, he has spent the last four years working for Northstar Aerospace in Bedford Park, IL as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, and with the Chrysler Group at the Belvidere Assembly Plant (Belvidere, IL) as an Industrial Engineering Supervisor on the Dodge Dart launch team.
Sprietler’s key objectives in his new role will be to provide guidance at both Accurate Metal Fabricating and Accurate Perforating in their transition to lean manufacturing practices; focusing on process improvement and cost reduction efforts at both companies.
