Greg Pasley will now serve as president of Butler Manufacturing.
“Greg brings extensive knowledge of Butler Manufacturing and has a history of forging strong connections with Butler Builders across the business,” said Miguel Alvarez, president of BlueScope Buildings North America, the parent company of Butler Manufacturing. “His experience in the various leadership positions he has held with BlueScope have prepared Greg well to fill this important role.”
Most recently, Pasley served as vice president of sales and marketing for Butler. Prior to that, he was president of Conventional Steel Services, an operating unit of BlueScope Buildings North America. Pasley’s other roles within the organization include vice president of building solutions for a BlueScope joint venture in India and positions in both engineering and preconstruction management. Pasley joined Butler in 1996.
“Butler has a 100-plus-year history of finding innovative answers to industry challenges,” Pasley said. “For the last 22 years, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, curiosity and ingenuity of the hundreds of employees at Butler. I look forward to continue working with our team and respected Butler Builders to deliver game-changing solutions that not only provide customers with the highest-quality buildings, but also optimize the building process. As we usher in the next great era of innovation, I am honored and humbled to serve as president.”
Pasley holds doctorate, master’s and bachelor’s degrees in civil/structural engineering from the University of Kansas.
