MetalTech-USA, Peachtree City, Ga., announced that it has expanded its range of engineering services. The new services complement MetalTech-USA’s metal distribution and fabrication capabilities. Shop drawings, testing, and job specific engineering services are now available.
“We’re already offering these types of services to some of our customers,” Blaine Gardner, Engineer and VP of Operations, said. “If you’re not sure what you need or don’t know where to start with the approvals process, we can help you,” he remarked. Many types of shop drawings are available for different types of projects including: metal roof panel systems, metal wall panel systems, metal soffit panel systems, Zinc Composite Material (ZCM) panel systems, Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panel systems, coping systems, high velocity wind zone requirements (HVHZ), custom panel/flashing details, and aluminum plate screen wall systems. Testing services are available for roofing panels and architectural cladding systems. Tests can be prepared to different levels of stringency from uncertified data analysis to testing at a certified facility. Both UL and ASTM tests are available. Job specific engineering services cover a wide range, including engineering consulting services, engineering calculations for rollforming requirements (radii, arch length, etc.), analysis and testing of building specific systems to meet specifications, and project specific engineering on rated systems. Project submittal packages, including test reports, panels and accessory samples can be assembled and sent out for necessary approvals. MetalTech-USA can provide stamped PE engineering analysis for most states and will cover of the rest of the United States, Canada, and Mexico in the near future.
